Democrats Acting Badly Watch: IL-17 AND IL-18!

This cropped up at one of Phil Hare’s events.  Some background (you can see the raw video here): Phil Hare was doing his best to ignore his constituents’ rather pointed questions about Hare’s lack of awareness when it came to Constitutional law; eventually Hare fled to an area where said constituents could not follow; they turned to leave; and then a Democrat called one of them a seven letter obscenity.

And that’s when the fun started (starts with a swearword).

Turns out that the guy is apparently Charles Giger, the husband and the chief of staff of DK Hirner, who has been tapped to lose the IL-18 Congressional election to Aaron Schock.  Which leads to an interesting question: did Giger try to hide his wife’s campaign button to protect her, or to protect Phil Hare? – Because Hirner’s not only far too progressive for IL-18 (R+6); these days she’d be iffy for IL-17 (D+3).  The last thing that the Hare campaign needs right now is any sort of association with left-wing extremists.

After all, isn’t Nancy Pelosi enough?

    I’ve got to think this kind of stuff is starting to pile up against him.

    I suspect Hare is one of those incumbents whose loss in Nov. is going to “surprise” the “usual suspects” in the punditry (e.g. Charlie Cook), but will surprise none of us on this side of the ditch. Ditto Bob Ethridge…

    Gone are the days of the Democrats being classified into moderate, liberal and far left. Marxisits have hijacked the Democrat Party and these days, they are all FAR LEFT EXTREMISTS.

    What the new Democrats call Centrist Republicans are really the new Democrat Moderates. What Democrats call the Right is the new Center, and what Democrats call far-right extremists are the new Right of Center, in reality, mainstream Conservatives. Although Democrat terminology has shifted, the American Mainstream remains still Right of Center.

    Far from being condemnation of Conservatives, current Democrat terminology is only further evidence that the Democrats are out of touch with the American people. I am hopeful that, despite past successes and current efforts to steal the Mid-Term Elections, the Democrats will receive due punishment at the polls.

    Some claim that the American people have abandoned the Democrat Party. Many in the Republican Party assert that the people have abandoned it as well, especially former Centrist Republicans. The truth is, while America has remained steadfastly Right of Center, both Democrats and Republicans in large numbers have abandoned the American people.
