Now After AOC and Leftist Orgs Ask, Google and Apple Both Act Against Parler

We’ve been reporting on the seemingly coordinated crackdown coordination by Democrats/those on the left with Big Tech to silence those on the right.

All the social media platforms have now booted Trump. Twitter booted him after being asked to do so by Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), as we reported.

So we all go to Parler, right? Not so fast.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) amplified the call of the Republican suppression group, Sleeping Giants, for Big Tech to act against Parler, the place many on the right have fled to because it believes in free speech and they don’t like Twitter suppression.

According to Buzzfeed, Apple threatened Parler saying they had 24 hours to completely change the way they allow free speech and “moderate” or Apple would ban them from their App Store, thus harming people’s ability to get to them on their phones.

Meanwhile, Google has suspended Parler’s App for the same reason until Parler addresses “this ongoing and urgent public safety threat.”

They’ve literally blamed all of Parler for the actions of a few. Of course, again, that’s the excuse to shut down the alternative, so there is no alternative. There is only the approved narrative, on the approved site, Twitter.

There are also reports that Parler was down for a period of time, although it seems to be up again now.

The CEO of Parler John Matze wasn’t complying, according to Buzzfeed.

“We will not cave to pressure from anti-competitive actors! We will and always have enforced our rules against violence and illegal activity. But we WONT cave to politically motivated companies and those authoritarians who hate free speech!” he wrote in a message.

“Anyone who buys an Apple phone is apparently a user. Apperently[sic] they know what is best for you by telling you which apps you may and may not use,” he added.

Sen. Ted Cruz and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and President Donald Trump’s family members and surrogates have all gone to Parler and urged others to go there. Mark Levin and Dan Bongino have also had enough with Twitter.

But this is where we are. They will do all they can to control the narrative and shut down any questions/dissent. Meanwhile, all kinds of leftist violence, threats and planning is cool on Twitter.

Yes, we are, in answer to Rep. Massie’s question.
